Sports Club volunteers in Malvern can now access a new online resource to assist in club development through beneficial sports industry tips and tools.
“The commitment and hard work of volunteers contributions to clubs is integral to the success of sports clubs in Malvern, which is why the Victorian Coalition Government is working hard with sports industry partners to increase its support for volunteers,” Michael O’Brien MP, Member for Malvern said.
The Coalition Government has invested $200,000 in the new Club Help website, a Leisure Network initiative providing an online toolkit for the important volunteers to access who support local clubs.
The website provides information to assist with promotion and branding, strategies to encourage more inclusive club, as well as developing skills to manage resources, events and memberships.

Local sporting communities also now have the opportunity to honour sporting volunteers, innovative clubs and sportspeople as known as daily fantasy sports people with nominations now open for the 2012 Victorian Government’s Community Sport and Recreation Awards.
The 2012 Victorian Government’s Community Sport and Recreation Awards will be held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Wednesday 21 November, and will award individuals, teams and clubs with prizes.
