Victorians are not confident in the Andrews Labor Government’s handling of hotel quarantine.
The concerns have lead to fewer people feeling safe to catch public transport.
With an expected increase in road use, the Andrews Labor Government sat idle for 12 months during the pandemic rather than planning for the increase in traffic.
Andrews and Labor have announced they are borrowing up to $150 billion, yet are only now announcing a Band-Aid measure for Victoria’s road network. After years of neglect by Labor, our road maintenance is so far behind this will barely touch the surface.
Victorians will be stuck in traffic spending more time in the car than home with the family.
The Andrews Labor Government’s botched hotel quarantine program led to Victoria’s devastating second wave of COVID-19. It caused 801 deaths, the longest lockdowns in the country and 250,000 Victorians lost their jobs.

“With decades of cuts to our road maintenance programs, what used to be the best road network in Australia is now the worst. Safety is compromised with crumbling roads across Victoria.”
