Labor blocks Ombudsman probe into disgraced Ministers

The corruption-ridden Andrews Labor Government has today blocked moves by the Liberal Nationals to direct the Ombudsman to investigate the shocking allegations revealed on 60 Minutes and in The Age.

Leader of the Opposition, Michael O’Brien moved a motion in the Victorian Parliament today to establish an Ombudsman’s investigation however Daniel Andrews and his Labor mates continued their protection racket and refused to allow the investigation to commence.

Daniel Andrews has had three of his Ministers resign in disgrace in the space of just 25 hours following serious allegations of misconduct.

The stench of corruption surrounding the Andrews Labor Government gets stronger by the day.

Comments attributable to Leader of the Opposition, Michael O’Brien:

“Daniel Andrews has been the Leader of the Victorian Labor Party for 10 years and he has allowed this corrupt culture to flourish.

“The Ombudsman must be allowed to investigate these shocking allegations of misconduct by Labor Ministers.

“Victorians deserve to know the truth about just how rotten Daniel Andrews’ government really is.

“That Daniel Andrews has blocked this investigation shows Victorians how much he has to hide.

“While Victorians are losing their jobs, the Andrews Labor Government has descended into corruption-ridden chaos.”
