The Liberal Nationals are calling on the State Government to give a much-needed boost to the hospitality industry and make it cheaper for Victorians to eat out.
Months of harsh lockdowns due to Labor’s second wave have decimated the hospitality industry with some bars, pubs and restaurants hit so hard financially, they won’t be reopening.
The Liberal Nationals want the Government to implement our “Eat Out for Victoria” program which would subsidise 50 per cent of the bill up to a maximum of $20 per person for a period of four weeks.
This would make it easier and more affordable for Victorians to reunite with friends and family in a COVID-safe way, after spending so long apart.
The Liberal Nationals’ positive plan would help inject life back into small businesses which Daniel Andrews has forgotten about completely.
